Purple Spiny Oyster Teardrops with Watermelon Tourmaline and a textured surround. The watermelonTourmaline (the small stone at the top) has open back so light shows through this lovely transparent stone. So named because there is a slight green rim around the outside edge of the stone, with a ruby red interior. 1 1/8” tall (excluding ear wires x 1/2”) Why are some of my earrings so much more expensive than others? 2 reasons - cost of materials and creation time. The stones alone for these earring were $65, add the cost of sterling silver $10 and then the time involved to create these one-of-a-kind beauties.
